KMSS is proud to share freely available resources via its dozens of subscriptions that will keep ECA staff as well as our many customers, colleagues and communities safe and supported during these challenging times.
Although our physical offices may be closed for now, the ECA Library is very much open. KMSS knows that now, more than ever, our colleagues need quick and easy online access to the information offered by the journals we subscribe to as well as opportunities to share their research.
On that note, KMSS would like to inform ECA staff of the following:
- JSTOR is expediting the release of a new set of 26 journal archives in Public Health, making them openly accessible through June 30, 2020.
- Emerald Publishing has made research on COVID-19 and the management of epidemics and pandemics free for anyone to access and have also made this available with full text and data mining rights to PubMed Central and the World Health Organisation repository.
- Emerald Publishing has partnered with ProQuest to offer unlimited access to EBook Central holdings.
- Emerald Insight is set up to support remote access for those not able to be within the ECA premises, with information on how to do this provided via their Customer Support Portal.
- Emerald Works has free tips and tricks available on making virtual meetings work.
- Our organization has a dedicated website on the Coronavirus Global Health Emergency, which is frequently updated with the latest information and research on the topic.
